Find Comfort in Written Words

Dive into poetry!

Poetry is the art of noticing. I have always found that the world speaks in metaphors—in the way a shadow falls across a room or the specific ache of a passing season. My work is an invitation to slow down and look closer. I write because I believe that even the smallest, most ordinary details of life deserve a monument. Through these poems, I hope to translate the noise of the everyday into a melody that resonates with the heart.

Voices whisper things I wish I never said
Tell me I’m alive, then they tell me I’m dead
Mirror shows a face I don’t recognize
Smiling on the outside, storm behind my eyes
Every single thought feels like a disguise
Truth keeps shifting, I can’t tell the lies
Is it me or just the chemicals?
Am I broken or just cynical?
Try to breathe but it’s conditional
Reality feels fictional

You saw the tears I tried to hide,
The sleepless nights,
the pain inside.
When my world felt cold and grey,
You held my hand and chose to stay.
I push you out, I shut you down,
Smile in public, break alone now.
But somehow you still see my heart,
Even when I’m falling apart
